The Fort Worth Music Festival is held in honor of Fort Worth’s deep musical roots. From musical pioneers and artists as diverse as Country Swing’s Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys to Jazz Icon Ornette Coleman to Contemporary Innovator T- Bone Burnett, Fort Worth residents have made an indelible imprint on the music of both our state and our country. The Fort Worth Music Festival is proud to showcase the various genres of music which have called our city home.
The 2013 Festival will present Country, Rhythm & Blues, Jazz, Gospel, Pop and Indie Rock, in total 30 bands on 3 stages, to the joy of any music aficionado or any local Texan proud of his hometown. In addition, the 2013 Fest will present artwork exhibits, culinary offerings and classes by area chefs and groovy local vendors. The Fort Worth Music Festival is a celebration of those things which make Fort Worth the vibrant, growing city it is.
