Help us put on an amazing event!

Note: Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian if under 18 years of age.

Volunteer Check-In
Volunteer Check-In is located at the SW corner of Lancaster Ave. and Van Cliburn Way (see Maps, etc.). There is no designated volunteer parking, however there is plenty of FREE parking surrounding the festival site (see Maps, etc.).

All volunteers will be given a volunteer badge and instructions at check-in. Please remember to also CHECK OUT after your shift to return your badge and receive a special thank you for supporting the festival!

Helpful Hints for Volunteers
• Please wear comfortable shoes, sun visor or hat.
• Bring sunglasses and sunscreen (if volunteering during the day).
• Leave purse and valuables at home (there is no storage area).

Reminders
• Please be on time! For example, if your shift begins at 3:30 PM, please arrive at volunteer check-in at 3:25 PM.
• For each shift, volunteers will be provided a bottle of water.
• We ask that you do not leave your post unattended and that you stay until the next volunteer shift arrives.
• Please ensure another volunteer is available if you need a break to go to the restroom.
• For beer and wine booth volunteers, you will be given a briefing on TABC regulations when you check-in. Please remember to check identification on all patrons.

Volunteer Job Descriptions

Information/Merchandise Booth
Distribute festival programs, brochures, and entertainment schedules. Sell festival merchandise, take cash, check and/or MC/Visa payments and return change.

Festival Host
Assist staff in a variety of jobs throughout the festival site, serving as backup support in other service/operational areas, providing festival information and regulating/directing crowd flow in public seating/traffic areas.

Green Team
Environmental care. Assist public in placing recyclable material in proper bins.

Merchandise
Set up band merchandise area. Act as manager during event. Also need runners during event.

Visual Artist Check In
Assist Jet in charge, help artist find booth space, answer questions, get help with challenges.

Culinary Area
Assist with set up. Be on-site go to person during event.

Set Up/Tear Down
The most fun job of all, but physical. Be on-site when no one else is and see how it all comes together.
